20th June: Pulse explores the future of film

Friday 20th June, 5pm
The Hospital Club
24 Endell St, London WC2H 9HQ

This session will showcase the breadth of Pulse¹s work, not just in commercials and branded content but across film and TV as well, and (hopefully) demonstrates how bringing together creative skills from many disciplines leads to great work.

Our host with the most is Emma Castagno. An art director who joined Pulse as an in-house creative last month. She’s been on the inside track previously, having worked for 9 years agency-side on a wide range of advertising campaigns, many of them at BBH. Now at Pulse, she is looking for the creative opportunity beyond the 30 second spot in the world of branded content.

Y’all know that we throw a good party by now, so don’t miss out on the bangin-est knees up of the camping season.

Where all campers, can-doers, make-happeners and spread-the-worders of Cannt come together for a final big bash-up. We’ll let the camp spirit roll and dance and be merry until we trundle to our beds.

17th June: One Time at Band Camp

Monday 17th, 6pm
Zigfrid von Underbelly
11 Hoxton Square, London, Greater London N1 6NU

Hyper Island’s Band Camp is born out of our love of anything that involves collaboration, fun & technology. Our students have hacked Guitar Hero and created an oversized, multi user controller, turning it into a team game rather than a spectator sport, bring a team from work and battle it out for the 2013 Hyper Island Band Camp trophy.

18th June: Cannes Contenders with Contagious

Tuesday 18th
IPA, London, SW1X 8QS

If the scene out of your office window looks anything like ours here in a drizzle and wind-swept London, then it may surprise you to hear that this year’s Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity is just around the corner!

The IPA 44 Club and Contagious bring you a recession-friendly alternative. Contagious’ Cannes Contenders presentation is now a globally-recognised, must-see source of inspiration and insight for brands and agencies, Croisette-bound or not.

Covering the most exciting and relevant categories including Film, Cyber, Integrated, PR and of course the much-coveted Titanium, the Contagious editorial team has once again skimmed the cream off the top of all the work we’ve seen in the past twelve months. Over the course of one hour, your very own Contagious editorial bod Patrick Jeffrey, Staff Writer, Contagious will take you through at least twenty individual case studies, providing a dose of unique Contagious insight to take away with you.

The event will take place on 18th June at the IPA. The evening will start at 6:00pm with a drinks reception. At 6:30pm Patrick will reveal the Cannes Contenders followed by a Q&A. The evening will close at 8:00pm.

Cost: £24 (£20 plus £4 VAT) for members, £48 (£40 plus £8 VAT) for non-members

Grab your tickets HERE.
