Say goodbye to stuffy book crits, this year CAMP CANNT and DRAFTFCB are hosting the world’s first Speed Critique event. Fast paced and dirty, it’s a fresh way for young creatives to get themselves, and one piece of work, in front of 8 top creative chiefs.
Each critique will last three minutes, after which both sides decide if they want to ditch or date the other party. Who knows, maybe you’ll find love at camp this year…
Space is limited so get your TICKETS early!
We are working in a fast paced creative industry where technology is dictating the latest jobs. As career consultants helping agencies recruit and retain staff we will be on hand to offer free advice about the current state of play in the market for fulltime and freelance work. We are here for Creatives and Suits from Junior- Board level and happy to have an open and honest conversation about salaries, job opportunities, skills, and how to stand out in a competitive job market.

Hyper Island’s Band Camp is born out of our love of anything that involves collaboration, fun & technology. Our students have hacked Guitar Hero and created an oversized, multi user controller, turning it into a team game rather than a spectator sport, bring a team from work and battle it out for the 2013 Hyper Island Band Camp trophy.

If the scene out of your office window looks anything like ours here in a drizzle and wind-swept London, then it may surprise you to hear that this year’s Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity is just around the corner!
The IPA 44 Club and Contagious bring you a recession-friendly alternative. Contagious’ Cannes Contenders presentation is now a globally-recognised, must-see source of inspiration and insight for brands and agencies, Croisette-bound or not.
Covering the most exciting and relevant categories including Film, Cyber, Integrated, PR and of course the much-coveted Titanium, the Contagious editorial team has once again skimmed the cream off the top of all the work we’ve seen in the past twelve months. Over the course of one hour, your very own Contagious editorial bod Patrick Jeffrey, Staff Writer, Contagious will take you through at least twenty individual case studies, providing a dose of unique Contagious insight to take away with you.
The event will take place on 18th June at the IPA. The evening will start at 6:00pm with a drinks reception. At 6:30pm Patrick will reveal the Cannes Contenders followed by a Q&A. The evening will close at 8:00pm.
Cost: £24 (£20 plus £4 VAT) for members, £48 (£40 plus £8 VAT) for non-members

For too long, the art directors have had it their way. For too long, the writer has been left out in the cold, bereft of a good excuse to stare at naked people.
But no longer! DRAFTFCB and Cannt Festival invite you to put your skills to the test and paint pictures with words, inspired by our life model. Armed with only a sharp HB pencil, writers will go through rounds of varying length and stimulus, experimenting with style and form, moving from haiku to limerick via internal monologue, short story and back in an evening of worthy wordiness and beery beeriness.
Wednesday 19th, 7pm

A chance for everybody not at Cannes 2013 to see what the future holds for them in 2014!
Have your fortunes told by palmists and astrologers, and learn what lies ahead with talks from ‘Singularity ’ expert Russell Buckley, trend-spotter Cate Trotter, and technology expert Dave Birss.
Who knows, if you Cannt this year, perhaps you Cannes next year.

Have you got a smile on your face ‘cos you’re a creative from one of them fancy agencies? Well ShellsuitZombie are going to WIPE IT THE HELL OFF.
In the same way a skinny hipster lad might challenge a gym buff to a fight after one drink too many, we’ve challenged the top industry muscle of Dare to a night of creative scraps and you’re invited to join in the fight. So are you with us or against us?
Ever wondered if you could survive an Apocalypse in the city? Believe it or not, edible things do actually grow in this city, you just need to know how to find them. Learn how to tell nosh from nettles with professional urban forager John and our Urban Foraging Feast in Victoria Park. And it might just give you the perfect skill to add to your LInkedIn profile. Nom nom nom!

It’s time to get off the portaloo and onto the dancefloor – we’ve blown off the awning. Find our caravan inside Barrio East, where you can squeeze in with Jelly and Rapp, get intimate and grab your free drinks. So stop tenting, and start drinking.
And remember: if you can’t Cannes, caravan.
Note: The Caravan ticket does not guarantee you entry into Barrio East once it’s filled up, so make sure you get there early!
Friday 21st, 6pm
At the Closing Bash venue
Singers, musicians and noise-makers from LBi lead a sing-a-long which is truly camp. Attempting songs from the likes of ABBA, Britney, Village People, Wham and Beyonce (and many others) in the camp song style, we’ll get the party started with a hearty sing-song over a cold beer and warm(ish) fire. Feel free to bring your own tambourine, wooden spoon or other weapon of noise - or just your hearty voice – and sing, sing, sing!
21st June, 7pm
LBi, Brick Lane
Y’all know that we throw a good party by now, so don’t miss out on the bangin-est knees up of the camping season.
Where all campers, can-doers, make-happeners and spread-the-worders of Cannt come together for a final big bash-up. We’ll let the camp spirit roll and dance and be merry until we trundle to our beds.
